A Strip-Piecing Project
Our original Square Puzzle 2 quilt top is designed specifically for the 3" square "label" prints. The pattern is made with a repeating 9" block built from squares and rectangles - making it a good quilt for beginners too! Like the log cabin pattern, the design can be altered by changing the block orientations. The pattern includes instructions for an alternate construction that allows you to rotate the blocks while keeping the fussy cut "label" center oriented to the same direction.

The 9" blocks are constructed using both piecing and strip piecing techniques, so putting the quilt top together is fast and fun! Our instructions guide you through cutting and sewing the strips, constructing the 10" blocks, and putting the quilt together. The pattern includes directions for six different sizes - from baby to king!
Pattern price: $8.00 each
The pattern includes a 3-1/2" square template to make cutting out the label squares easier!

*The first quantity listed for the A-color is the estimated yardage needed if using a "label" fabric - the number in parenthesis is how many 3-inch blocks are needed for that size. The second quantity listed is the yardage needed if using a regular fabric that will be strip-pieced.
The pattern provides instructions to complete a quilt top. Back, bat, and bind as normal.
Some of the label blocks are available separately in the fabrics section.
