New Fabrics! New Kits!
Check out our new fabrics! We came back from the Big E to a whole bushel of new fabrics - Robert Kaufman, Timeless Treasures, Benartex, and more!
We've been very busy making lots of new kits. Check out the new fabric kits for our Sudoku and Spinning Squares patterns!

The The Big E has finally arrived!
We’ve been busy sewing and cutting for months in preparation for the BIG event and the final countdown’s begun.
From September 11th through September 29th we’re going to be in West Springfield, MA at the Eastern States Exposition Fairgrounds for The BigE fair for 17 whole days of fun and excitement! If you’re close enough to attend the event, stop by and say “Hi!” - we’ll be on the Avenue of States in the New Hampshire building.
After we’ve recuperated from the show, we’ll get back to designing…just in time for the holidays!
Up next on the list for our original quilt patterns are Jazzy Stripes and Square It Up. Jazzy Stripes is a simple pieced block, like a 2-way log cabin block. Square It Up! is designed to show off the large-scale novelty prints that we all love and are never quite sure what to do with. It’s lots of fun and good for beginners, and would make a great gift. We confess, these two patterns have been on the drawing board for most of the summer, but we’ve set a goal to get them out by Christmas
.
As a quick aside, we’ve also begun planning our schedule for next year. If you know of any favorite quilting or sewing events that you think we should attend, feel free to drop us a note and tell us about it! We’re always looking for new shows to attend.

It's time for a little Summer cleaning!
What better time to do a bit of cleaning than summer time? We've been cleaning out all those back corners, top shelves, and other various places that tend to collect clutter and such. We've decided it's time to clear out the old to make way for the new - and we've already seen a tasty selection of the fall prints coming out!
So, we've now posted the start of our great summer clearance efforts. The Clearance and Remnants pages in the fabric section have the first of many more items to come. You'll find some great bargains on these pages!
And keep an eye on these pages during the rest of the summer as I have many more discounted fabrics to add - especially to the Remnants page! Keep in mind that unlike all of our other fabric pages, the Clearance page is sold by the yard. The Remnants page are leftover cut pieces, sometimes the ends of projects and sometimes just the end of the bolt. Each listing is for one item ONLY - first come, first served!

New Quilt Kit - Rail Fence
Our Rail Fence kit is a quilting project using the strip-piecing technique to make the rail fence pattern with a scrappy look. The kit includes 75 pre-cut strips of many, many different fabrics so that the finished quilt top has a scrap quilt look, but the dark rail still steps through it.

Welcome to the launch of our brand new quilting and sewing site! While still part of Purrfect Pastimes, Cotton Novelty Fabrics will focus on our original quilting and sewing patterns, fabric kits, and our large stock of cotton novelty fabrics. We have many plans for this site and will be announcing new products throughout the year.

Drawing Rules:
The rules to participate in the drawing are simple:
1. Sign up for our newsletter! Just fill out the form on the top of any page on the site.
2. The winning name is pulled on the last day of the month. The winner will be notified when the name is pulled.
3. Shipping is free for the prize in the US. A shipping credit is given for International winners.
4. The prize is different each month and announced on the first day of the month.
